As I Am 05:04
Verse 1: She drives around all day Not knowing where to go Wind is in her hair Love let her go That’s where it all begins and that’s what’s right Your desire to start At nothing at all Pre-chorus: Oh I gotta stay true to myself I can’t be nobody else There’s no one left Chorus: You told me not to write a love song But I still go on Won’t take the blame for what I am Never enough, you try to prove ’em wrong Why don’t you move along And try to see me as I am Verse 2: Sometimes I feel I lived another life Before I’ve come to life right through that door The hardest part is just to shut it dead Don’t let old ways in there As I Am Pull you back out Pre-chorus: Oh I gotta stay true to myself I can’t be nobody else There’s no one left Chorus: You told me not to write a love song But I still go on Won’t take the blame for what I am Never enough, you try to prove ’em wrong Why don’t you move along And try to see me as I am No need to break me as I am Say it isn't so, I wanna let go Say it isn't so, I wanna let go Say it Say it Say it As I Am Say It SAY IT SAY IT SAY IT SAY IT Chorus: You told me not to write a love song But I still go on Won’t take the blame for what I am Never enough, you try to prove ’em wrong Why don’t you move along And try to see me as I am You gotta take me as I am No need to break me as I am Say it Say it Say it

Sweet and sour, He’s got the point, While you’re Hosting their power, Moon turns black, Fire’s on Baby you just gotta move on, Oh baby you just gotta move on Cherish your own kind of truth Play your own kind of blues, You’ve got nothing to loose, Wanna good feeling? Oh it comes with a strike You’re invited tonight To start living your life Ready Or Not Time is up You’ve got to explore, You’ve got to believe Wild and unknown, Will get you relief But nobody is forcing your thrill, Aquaductus was made to prove you don’t need to worry, They’ve got your back, But is it a story, or just a pamphlet, Go with the flow and you’ll get to the sewage, And all that control and your minimum wage, will suck you in or, if instead you might wanna better scene, as easy as that, Demanding your rights will prove you can fight You’re invited tonight To start living your life Ready Or Not Time is up You’ve got to explore, You’ve got to believe Wild and unknown, Will get you a relief You’ve only been where you’ve felt safe before Just open one more door You’re craving to break through It is awaiting you You’re invited tonight To start living your life Ready Or Not Time is up You’ve got to explore, You’ve got to believe Wild and unknown, Will get you relief Wild and unknown, Will get you relief Will get you relief Will get you relief

Precious Times Precious Times Poisoned feelings You got it right She’s got a light to burn your insides Labeling, twisting The ropes of your pain Triggering nerves And opposing the rates Pre-chorus: She’s in your way You can’t delay Forcing the gate to close Pretending escape is a force Losing your game And no one to blame Wandered around her ghost You’re hitting the ground Chorus: Stained superstition Timeless remark I’m out of vision and you’re out of luck Tell me your secrets Show me your wounds You’ll never be the same until I find the truth the truth, the truth Precious Times Verse 2: As much as it hurts me As much as I care You can’t desert me I’m walking on air I’m wiping off feelings That only wolves share Don’t glorify meanings We ran out of cliches Pre-chorus: She’s in your way You can’t delay Forcing the gate to close Pretending escape is a force Losing your game And no one to blame Wandered around her ghost You’re hitting the ground Chorus: Stained superstition Timeless remark I’m out of vision and you’re out of luck Tell me your secrets Show me your wounds You’ll never be the same until I find the truth the truth, the truth

Verse: When you thought That danger was out front It was behind the curtains Everything will fall into its place Just give it a time to be certain He doesn't like when it blooms She doesn't like to wear purple Outsiders unite To identify life with a circle Wrong convictions made of wrong impressions Does he follow horizons Or just worships fashion What's real or what's true We don't wanna know Chorus: What if the shell becomes too tight And if it doesn't feel alright Is it too late too fight Against your pride And if you start it once again I won't pretend to be your friend We'll know who's worth it When we meet in the end Spell My Name Verse 2: Spell my name Your face Is lit up with thousands of thoughts Change your place, Kill your ghosts And things are getting clearer You didn't even know who to lie And what to hide Chorus What if the shell becomes too tight And if it doesn't feel alright Is it too late too fight Against your pride And if you start it once again I won't pretend to be your friend We'll know who's worth it When we meet in the end Bridge Verse 3: Everyday goes by On the other side Sky is turning gold You tried flames Spell My Name You tried fraud Your perimeter stays Unaffected And you just keep on trying to loose That's what you choose Chorus: What if the shell becomes too tight And if it doesn't feel alright Is it too late too fight Against your pride And if you start it once again I won't pretend to be your friend Just take it all Or leave it on a bedroom stand

Verse 1: I wanna be attached to a word To the truth, to the bluest of skies I wanna find the light That brought this earth to the reason why Don't you Every little piece of this damn life refers me to you To elude me from discovering What would it be if I find myself In my ages of fool In the cages of pain That confined in my veins Chorus: Every little piece of you should be erased, Thrown out of my jam, I don't wanna know The price of me loosing it all You made me weak You made me fall To hell your excuses I'm through with that role Verse 2: One, two One, Two (Fear) Here is where I found you My swaying belief I'm learning to be In my skin again 7 times I made the same mistake But this time I won't make it again There should be a new way Even if it's delayed I portray what I couldn't fake Till December flushes my name And if you come tonight I know that things are gonna be alright Just don't be late It's gonna be my favorite day Chorus: Every little piece of you should be erased, One, Two (Fear) Thrown out of my jam, I don't wanna know The price of me loosing it all You made me weak You made me fall To hell your excuses I'm through with that role Outro Verse: Who's addicted is addictive Your lover left And your liver is failing And you think you're in success But you're fading, fading, fading Fading away To the lands of obscure limitations Where people pray just to stay in today I'm not here for the resurrection Oh oh I can't find my place in this world God let me replace my soul Just let me replace my soul I'm not running around anymore I'm not running away anymore Say Hey Cos I'm not good for that One, Two (Fear) Oh I'm not, I'm not good for that Oh I'm no good for that Yeeah One, two Here is where I found you My swaying belief I'm learning to be In my skin again

Everytime 03:13
Verse 1: You know you're breaking my heart It's breaking in two I don't regret it so far I don't believe that you do You're coming closer to me You're my sweetest relief I feel so tired to breathe Oh I'm entitled to leave Pre-chorus: Underneath of my skin I'm burning within Chorus: And every time I look around I see this crazy town That wants to bring me down And every time I think I'm giving in I found my voice within To fight this sin Verse 2: I am clenching my teeth It's getting harder to breathe You know mistakes that I'll do No matter what I'll get through Everytime I'm switching all the lights on Myself I'm breaking a dawn It's my hello to the thief Who left me nothing but grief Pre-chorus: Underneath of my smile I am hiding my lie Chorus: And every time I look around I see this crazy town That wants to bring me down And every time I think I'm giving in I found my voice within To fight this sin Bridge: To tell you the truth I never been so much in love That sounds crazy But amazing Everytime I won't overprice That feeling that I've got for you So don't waste it Please Don't waste it Pre-chorus: Underneath of my skin I'm burning within Chorus x 2 And every time I look around I see this crazy town That wants to bring me down And every time I think I'm giving in I found my voice within To fight this sin

Alive 04:07
You came to me you said We wouldn’t last I thought it was a fear of the past Funny how now I know what you meant Now that I have a noose around my neck Pre-Chorus And I try And I try Find a way To touch the sky - and I’m not speeding up To stop Get down in flames It’s not too late To call my name Chorus You made me feel You made me cry It is because of you I feel again Alive Common just make me feel Oh make my cry I wanna feel again Alive
10.
Butterfly 04:09
I am a Butterfly in your hand That’s where I chose to land Lost my mind but who cares I don’t mind, I’m not scared They are staring at us, but what’s it for I can compete But you and me, it’s enough To believe in love Oh you and me, that’s enough To believe in love, my dear Let’s stay clear I had it all spring and fall Ghost parade, but past thousand years I was late To face you in my fate Now we’re standing right here The sky is clear We have no fear ‘Cause you and me, it’s enough to believe in Love Oh you and me, that’s enough to believe in love, my dear Let’s stay clear ‘Cause you and me, it’s enough to believe in Love Oh you and me, that’s enough to believe in love, my dear Let’s stay clear 'Cause you and me, that’s enough to believe in love, my dear Let’s stay clear

Why does it feel That it’s so hard to get real In a world that speaks so loud But so unclear Why does it seem That we don’t leave no legacy We only see Things that are bright Hear words that scream I wanna find a way To be able to relate In a world where my place Has been in escape Choose not to give up Don’t fall into their trap It’s up to us Each time we pass Another Chance What does it take To go ahead and press play To decide what is right On your own Fallen from grace Having lost Your safe place You rely on your gut Life goes on I wanna find a way To be able to relate In a world where my place Has been in escape Choose not to give up Don’t fall into their trap It’s up to us Each time we pass Another Chance Find a way To be able to relate In a world where our place Has been in escape Choose not to give up Don’t fall into their trap It’s up to us Each time we pass Another Chance

Out of Tune 05:54
It doesn’t matter if it’s real Or if it’s not Words can reveal What dreams cannot We’re not hopping on that train We found a way Leads to escape Amongst us faith Don’t tell me you’re not Craving for love Or you forgot What we are not I wanna see across the room You’re out of tune I am too soon We’re parting our ways I beg for delay You got time on a freeze Rattling Eloise I wanna be sure When closing that door It wasn’t too late to tell you Before you go up stay down Illusion of playground We once were too late pal Got stuck on the clock And it won’t matter if we’re still Praying our gods If time reveals There’s life on Mars In this moment that we share We’re on the edge There’s one big cage Inside we stretch A new dawn will soon Wipe all your wounds You’ll be on course Sometime in June You’ll find a way We’ll catch our wave And off we go No aftertaste We’re parting our ways I beg for delay You got time on a freeze Rattling Eloise I wanna be sure When closing that door It wasn’t too late to tell you Before you go up stay down Illusion of playground We once were too late pal Got stuck on the clock

about

Future From The Past is ultimately about embracing the present- It’s about overcoming fear and doubt by making manifest your dreams into the life you want to create now. They're stories about having the guts to risk everything, as well as see the value of staying true to yourself. That kind of inner strength and resolve can be infectious to those around you and help forge that reality. We can reflect on and learn from the past, cast our dreams into the future, but all we’re really given is this moment to live, so accept that invitation.

about

Scarlet Sails Los Angeles, California

Olya Scarlet met Dresden Dolls drummer, Brian Viglione in 2013 at a rock show. They formed Scarlet Sails soon after, where they introduced the elaborate blend of piano pop & theatrical rock with a grandiose flair, and Olya's raw and one-of-a-kind voice, and her honest, existential lyricism decorate their sound with rasp and swagger. ... more
